Sense Organ Activity

Sense Organs Activity for LKG and UKG Students

Date: 24th June 2026

On 24th June 2026, an engaging and interactive Sense Organs Activity was conducted for the LKG and UKG students. The objective of the activity was to help children understand the five sense organs and their functions through hands-on learning.

A colourful Five Senses Display Corner was set up in the classroom featuring the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin. Teachers explained the role of each sense organ using attractive charts, real objects, and demonstrations. Children actively participated in various activities such as identifying different sounds, smelling familiar objects, touching items with different textures, tasting safe food samples, and observing colourful pictures.

The young learners enthusiastically explored how their sense organs help them understand and interact with the world around them. The activity made learning fun, meaningful, and memorable. It also encouraged observation skills, curiosity, and active participation among the children.

The session concluded with a brief recap and interaction, where students confidently shared what they had learned. The activity was a great success and was enjoyed by all the children.
